Amplify Series Six
About
Amplify, Definition’s new play commissioning program, was developed to empower and uplift underrepresented theatre creatives. Each year the Definition Ensemble selects eight finalists to have their work professionally filmed and compiled together for screening at the annual Amplify New Play Festival. Winners of Amplify then receive a two-year development process with Definition to further develop their work. The scenes of Amplify Series Six surround the theme of "Everyday heroes.” Learn more about the history of Amplify.

Join us for a feature-length film of the eight filmed Series Six finalist scenes compiled with filmed interviews of the playwrights. Audiences can vote for their top four favorites to become winners of Amplify Series Six.
