About

Secondhand Lessons is a gripping drama set in 2008 at Grandview High School, a failing inner-city school on the verge of collapse. Pope Delmar, a former basketball star turned passionate teacher, fights to give his students a future beyond the streets. But as institutional racism, low test scores, and administrative pressures threaten to shut the school down, Pope finds himself in a battle, not just for his students, but for the soul of Grandview itself.
