Ericka Ratcliff is grateful to return to Definition where she previously directed James Ijames' White, and is thrilled for audiences to experience the beautiful, vital work the company continues to bring to its stages. She is a multidisciplinary artist currently serving as Literary Manager at Chicago Shakespeare Theater and Coordinating Producer for 100 Free Acts at Goodman Theatre. Formerly the Artistic Director at Congo Square Theatre, she programmed acclaimed productions including Welcome to Matteson, What To Send Up When It Goes Down, How Blood Go, and How I Learned What I Learned. Additional directing credits include Chlorine Sky (Steppenwolf), Blues for an Alabama Sky (UIC), Hit the Wall (NIU), and The Wolves (University of Chicago). She is an ensemble member with Lookingglass Theatre and was last seen onstage in the Jeff Award winning production of The Penelopiad at Goodman Theatre.
