About
Melanie J. Hubbard is delighted to work with Definition Theatre’s premiere of Black Bone. She loves when a story has potential to move the audience long after they’ve walked out the theatre and believes this production will do just that! She recently made her theatre debut as an understudy in Shattered Globe’s adaptation of a Tale of Two Cities.
Originally from Indianapolis, Melanie hones her skills with workshops at the Acting Studio of Chicago and can be seen in the recently released feature film Year One.
Beyond the stage, Melanie enjoys hiking, cooking vegan dishes and doing community service. She'd like to thank her family and friends for their love and support, especially her son Carson, who encouraged her to revisit her acting dream in 2022.
