Marlene Slaughter
About
Marlene Slaughter is a Houston native living in Chicago. She began her career in the arts by winning gold at the NAACP ACT-SO national competition for Drama in 2015. She earned her BFA in Acting and Multi-Media Entertainment at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Before graduation, she secured professional representation with Gray Talent Group and her first two professional jobs, a commercial for Blue Cross Blue Shield and a cross-country tour with Montana Shakespeare in the Parks. Since then, she has appeared in television shows like 61st Street, Somebody, Somewhere, American Greed, and numerous commercials for Project Makeover, Glassdoor, Red Robin, and more. She’s fresh off of a trip to Sundance with the film Ghostlight and has a couple short films currently in production. Most notably, Marlene works for WB games as the Motion Capture actress for the female version of the character Cyrax. She feels right at home with Definition and is very grateful to be a part of this cast!
