Cynthia F. Carter is a Chicago based actress and singer. Her career is long and accomplished covering more than 3 decades. Her very 1st professional production gained her critically acclaimed reviews from Chicago crites. With Chicago Sun-Times columnist Hedy Weiss describing her as an amazing and a skilled singer with a very promising career ahead. Cynthia has performed in over 30 professional musicals and plays over the years.
Cynthia's talents are also displayed in television and film. She
can be seen in Independent Sci-Fi film “The Watchers, Murder mystery drama ‘No Witness” Azusa Pacific University student film “Veronica Gold” and the California Institute of the Arts student film, “Self-Doubt”. Cynthia’s most recent television work can be seen on HBO Max “SouthSide” season 2 and NBC “Chicago Fire”.”
Cynthia is a Black Excellence Award recipient, Black theater Alliance recipient and most recently a Jeff Award nominee.
