Jared Bellot
About
Jared Bellot serves as the Associate Artistic Director for Definition Theatre, where he has been an Ensemble Member since 2016. A dramaturg, facilitator and arts educator, Jared’s work focuses on curating spaces that allow for moments of rigorous reflection, deep curiosity and intense laughter. Jared has served in various artistic, administrative and leadership positions at cultural institutions throughout Chicago including Timeline Theatre (where he is an Associate Artist), Jackalope Theatre (where he is a company member), Steppenwolf Theatre, Goodman Theatre, Victory Gardens Theatre and The Yard, DePaul University, Raven Theatre, Pride Films and Plays, Stage Left Theatre and Porchlight Music Theatre.
